MESSENGER/CLEANER REF NO: JI 36/2022

THE JUDICIAL INSPECTORATE FOR CORRECTIONAL SERVICES is looking for candidates who will work as messengers or cleaners of the department. This vacant is based on a 12-month contract and successful candidates will get paid the salary of R104 073 per annum (Level 2) plus 37% in lieu of benefits. CENTRE: Bloemfontein.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have a Grade 10 or ABET certificate (NQF level1-4). Work experience that is relevant. The ability to operate equipment (vacuum, urn, etc.). Reading and writing skills are required. Communication and listening abilities are important. Skills in planning, organizing, and dealing with people. DUTIES

The incumbent will be in charge of cleaning offices and maintaining a pleasant working environment. Cleaning and maintenance of GG vehicles, as well as equipment storage. Cleaning supplies are being ordered. Tasks are assigned by the supervisor on an as-needed basis. A valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
