DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND CONSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT is looking for administration officers.SALARY: R321 543 – R378 765 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement. CENTRE: Magistrate’s Office: Rouxville.

REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM

a three-year bachelor’s degree in public management administration or an equivalent national diploma; 3 years of management experience; Competencies and skills: Strong financial management skills (vote and trust account); Good interpersonal relations; knowledge of PFMA, DFI, BAS, and JYP; leadership and management principles; computer literacy (Microsoft packages); sound knowledge of asset management; sound knowledge of supply chain management and risk management; good interpersonal relations; knowledge of PFMA, DFI, BAS, and JYP;

DUTIES

Coordination and management of the office’s financial and human resources; coordination and management of risk and security in the court; management of the strategic and business planning process Organize the space; Control of the Family Courts, Human Resources, and Supply Chain sections; Administration of the office’s finances (Third Party Funds and Vote Accounts); Manage the Sections of Criminal and Civil Court Administration; General supervision of administration personnel, as well as the implementation of official and informal disciplinary measures; Compile data to demonstrate performance and trends. Check for completeness and accuracy in a variety of papers and coworker’s job performance. Manage the Department’s facilities at the Court; To assure service delivery, coordinate, manage, and administer support services to Case Flow Management and other court users. Implement policies established by the department; Manage and maintain prescripts pertaining to the DOJ & CD’s activities, as well as the public service in general; Facilitate employee training and development; manage office performance; and do any other activities required to keep the office functioning smoothly.
