CLEANERS: GENERAL ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT SERVICES (X2 POSTS)

DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING (INGWE TVET COLLEGE) is looking for cleaners the candidates will apply on this CENTRE/CAMPUS: Ingwe TVET College: Mount Frere Campus: Ref No: 2021/11/15 Central Office: Ref No: 2021/11/16. The candidates will get paid SALARY: R104 073 per annum (Level 02)

REQUIREMENTS

As a minimum, an ABET certification or a grade of 10 is required. Cleaning methods, maintenance procedures, and safety standards related to the positions’ responsibilities are all important to know. Lawnmowers, for example, require the ability to operate electrical equipment. Reading operational instructions and notifications requires basic reading and numeracy abilities. Be adaptable to the job’s shifting needs.

DUTIES

Ensure that the classrooms, offices, and adjacent areas are clean. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the campus and offices. Empty and discard litter bins, and clean dustbins. Passages, floors, and offices are all swept clean. Floor scrubbing, mopping, and polishing Furniture should be dusted and polished. Ensure that all equipment, machinery, and structures are secure, and that the tool shed and mess room are kept clean and neat. Toilets, basins, and wall tiles should all be clean.
