BMW YES4Youth Student Programme 2027 – 199746

The BMW YES4Youth Student Programme 2027 offers unemployed young South Africans a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to gain workplace experience. Applications close on 13 November 2026. Use job ID 199746 when checking that you have opened the correct BMW advert.

BMW YES4Youth programme requirements

You must be aged 18–34, currently unemployed and have no previous participation in a YES4Youth programme. BMW also requires a completed qualification relevant to an advertised discipline. This opportunity is not limited to university graduates, but a Matric certificate alone does not satisfy the stated qualification requirement.

Eligible qualifications include relevant university degrees, National Diplomas, diplomas and certificates. Check your qualification against the full employer list rather than assuming that every certificate qualifies.

Fields and workplace experience

The advertised disciplines cover finance, accounting, economics, business management, engineering, automotive and electrical trades, supply chain and logistics. BMW also includes IT, software development, data analysis, human resources, marketing, communications, digital design, risk, insurance, law and occupational health and safety.

Some additional qualifications are advantageous for particular placements. For example, taxation opportunities may favour postgraduate taxation study, while relevant Java, SAP and ABAP certifications can strengthen applications for applicable IT opportunities. These are discipline-specific advantages, not universal requirements.

Participants receive practical exposure to corporate or manufacturing work and develop professional skills. Placements are at BMW’s National Sales Company or Financial Services in Midrand, Plant Rosslyn in Pretoria, or the IT Hub in Menlyn. The programme is full-time. The advert does not promise permanent employment after the contract.

Documents and application

Prepare an updated CV, a certified ID copy, your full academic record or transcript, qualification certificates where applicable, your Matric certificate and any additional relevant certificates. BMW warns that incomplete applications and applications that do not meet its requirements will not be considered.

Create a comprehensive candidate profile through BMW’s career portal and attach the required documents. Review your profile and uploads before submitting, particularly your qualification and contact details. The employer has not stated a closing time, so avoid leaving your submission until the final hours.

How to apply

Apply through the official BMW recruitment page. Read the full BMW advert for the detailed discipline list and programme conditions.
