VKB General Worker – Qpro Feeds
The VKB General Worker vacancy at Qpro Feeds is a permanent opportunity at the Vrede feed plant in the Free State. If you have Grade 12 and two years of experience in an agricultural setting, this role lets you use practical work experience in an animal-feed production environment. VKB General Worker requirements
You need a Grade 12 qualification. Although the vacancy is classified as entry level, the detailed requirements specify two years of agricultural experience. Do not overlook this experience requirement when deciding whether to apply.

Work you will carry out
Your shift responsibilities include checking that housekeeping is in order before work starts and again at the end of the shift. You will ensure the daily paperwork is printed and available, communicate handovers between shifts and count stock at the beginning of the morning shift before processing begins.
When stock arrives, you will check the product type against the packaging and pallet label, the quantity received, bagging quality, the condition of slings, visible pallet barcodes and expiry dates. You will move pallets into the warehouse, scan labels into the allocated storage bins and confirm that the correct pallet number is picked.
Picked pallets must be moved to the loading area and grouped by load. Before loading, you will verify the product and quantity, perform quality checks during receiving, storage and vehicle loading, and complete the control sheets and registers relevant to your work.
