CSG Skills Learnerships: Programmes and CV Registration

CSG Skills learnerships cover several fields, and the provider offers an online CV-registration route for people interested in current and future opportunities. This guide explains the programmes, documents and registration process. It is not an announcement of a specific intake: CSG’s general learnership page does not confirm a closing date, stipend or number of available places.

What CSG Skills learnerships cover

The official programme catalogue includes administration, catering, generic management, hygiene and cleaning, information technology, project management, security, and wholesale and retail. You can explore these areas on CSG’s website and read the linked qualification outlines before deciding which type of learning suits your interests.

CSG describes both virtual learning through Microsoft Teams and face-to-face classroom sessions, with curriculum also available on its e-learning platform. This does not mean every programme is fully remote. If you are offered an opportunity, confirm its training arrangements, attendance requirements and practical placement details directly with CSG.

Who can register?

There is no single age limit or education requirement published for every programme on the general page. Entry requirements depend on the qualification and the particular opportunity. Read the relevant course outline and any recruitment notice carefully rather than assuming that Matric is required for every programme or that all applicants qualify.

Registration places your information on a database for consideration. CSG explicitly states that applying does not guarantee successful placement on a learnership. Do not treat registration as an offer of employment, a confirmed training place or a promise of a monthly allowance.

Documents to prepare

The official Candidate CV Upload form requests the following documents:

  • Your CV.
  • A recently certified copy of your ID, with certification no older than three months.
  • A recently certified copy of your highest qualification, with certification no older than three months.
  • Proof of your residential address.

You will also be asked for your location and personal contact details. An application-code field is provided if you have a relevant learnership code. Use accurate information and clear, readable document copies. Review the form’s consent wording before you submit: it explains database retention and access by third parties for recruitment or placement purposes.
