Job Purpose
The Filler Packer is responsible for completing a variety of basic and manual production tasks involved in the processing and packaging of products. The role requires strict adherence to Manufacturing Excellence Continuous Performance (MECP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Operate and support packaging equipment.
- Perform mixing, proving, slicing, labelling, case sealing, palletising and depalletising tasks.
- Carry out repetitive production and packaging duties accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete production records and operational documentation.
- Monitor product quality and report any non-conformances.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the assigned work area.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate in Manufacturing Excellence Continuous Performance (MECP) and 20 Keys improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through SGA and Invocoms activities.
- Meet production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Pure Mathematics.
- Physical Science.
- Good communication skills.
- An updated CV with all supporting documents attached.
