Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Science, with a minimum E symbol (40%), plus two relevant N2 trade subjects; or
- A minimum N2 Certificate with four relevant trade-related subjects.
Diesel Mechanic Subjects

Auto Electrician Subjects
- Mathematics

- Industrial Electronics
- Electrical Trade Theory
Applicants must also:
- Achieve a minimum 40% (E symbol) in the required subjects
- Be willing to undergo psychometric assessments
- Be prepared to work shifts, standby duties, and call-outs
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be self-motivated and innovative
- Be capable of identifying faults independently
- Be medically fit or able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
- Have a valid Code B (K53) driver’s licence
- Have no criminal record
Advantage
The following will be an added advantage:
- Previous experience in the mining industry
