Requirements

Grade 10/Standard 8 or its equivalent is required. Reading and writing skills are required. I’m ready to work under duress. Prepared to work a variety of shifts (Night, weekends and public holidays). Physical stamina and the capacity to cope with the physical demands of the job are required. Among the responsibilities are:

Collecting, sorting, and counting dirty/contaminated linen from various locations. Prepare the soiled laundry and submit it to the service provider. Use a variety of laundry machines and equipment (i.e., washing, dryer, ironing, pressers etc.). Sluicing and scrubbing the soiled clothes. The service provider should supply you with clean linens.

Issuing and supplying clean linen to departments and regions that require it. Clean linen is being stacked on the shelf. Making follow-up on linen that has not been returned. The laundry room was cleaned. Participate in the linen inventory procedure. Carry out any additional official responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.
