Job Description
As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will ensure that regular inspections are carried out on vehicle for roadworthiness.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure accurate administration of load paperwork
- Conduct daily inspection before vehicle usage
- Identify any unexpected problems that could require higher-level technical support to vehicle
- Apply recognized work, driving and safety standards
This role is in the Engineering department at a B4 level reporting to the Foreman Transport Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Grade 10/ Std 8 Numeracy and literacy
- Code 10 Driver’s license
- Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
- Communication in English
Experience
- 5 years of driving experience with a code 10
