Kumba Iron Ore is the producer of high-grade iron ore, the key component in steel widely used in construction and manufacturing across the world.
The main activities include all key components – exploration; mining; processing and blending; shipping; marketing and selling. In South Africa, the mining operations is in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Centurion, Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.

If you reside in the JTG District in the Northern Cape we have a great opportunity for you to join our extraordinary team at either Sishen Mine or Kolomela Mine in the Northern Cape to gain valuable work experience.
The Kumba Iron Ore YES initiative is looking for qualified graduates who reside in and around the JTG District area (Gamagara, Gasegonyane and Tsantsabane municipality).
To participate in the YES initiative and be placed at either Sishen Mine or Kolomela Mine in the Finance and Supply Chain Management discipline, you will need to meet the following

- Youth Age 18-35
- Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Supply Chain, Finance, Financial Management or Business Studies
- willing to perform medical checks
- work on a 12-month contract
- work in a mining environment
