Cleaner Level 2 Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
Main duties include:
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers, offices and wards
- Cleaning passages and waiting areas
- Dusting, washing, scrubbing and polishing floors
- Cleaning windows, stairs, fire escapes and walls
- Cleaning medical equipment and refrigerators
- Cleaning spillages
- Emptying bins and removing waste
- Handling medical waste according to hospital policies
- Following Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Following Infection Prevention and Control procedures
- Rotating between different cleaning areas
- Performing additional duties assigned by supervisors
