Department of Environment, foresty and fisheries is looking for a candidate to apply for available records clerks in Pretoria. Salary: R173 703 per annum (Total package of R286 638 per annum/ conditions apply)
The candidate will be required to have the minimum basics of computers skills and file system.
Records Clerk Minimum requirements
A Grade 12 plus relevant experience in records management. Knowledge of registry processes and practices as well as the ability to capture data. Knowledge of storage and retrieval procedures in terms of the working environment. Knowledge and understanding of legislative frameworks governing the Public Service. Good communications and computer skills. Planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Administration of incoming mail and correspondence. Administer and maintain files; Receive documents for disposal in terms of the National Archives Act. Provide registry counter service; process departmental mail in line with the applicable prescripts. Dispatch of departmental mail/file and correspondence; Ensure that official documents and correspondence are processed.
