REQUIREMENTS:
A basic education certificate (Grade 8 or equivalent) and the ability to read and write are required. Experience ranging from one (1) to two (2) years. Relevant expertise in the catering and hospitality industries will be a plus. Keeping cooking tools clean and safe is a skill. Sanitation, health, and safety protocols are all things to be aware of. Standards of hygiene are understood. Procedures and strategies for inventory management. Methods and strategies for stocktaking are well-understood. Food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques are all covered. Techniques for food presentation are well-versed. Understanding of how to serve food. Knowledge of quality management fundamentals. Basic inventory processes and methods understanding. Willing to work a variety of shifts.
DUTIES
Kitchens, food preparation areas, and sculleries should all be kept clean. In kitchens and dining halls, clean cooking and general utensils are utilized. Assemble items for salads, savory dishes, and sandwiches to be cooked and prepared. Fill 50 serving trays with food and beverages. Simple foods may be cooked, toasted, and heated. Ensure that the equipment is kept in a secure location. In the kitchen, reporting malfunctioning equipment and damaged objects.
